Roll and Clear Rules
Objective
To win the game, players try to have the lowest total number of points at the end of 5 rounds.
Players try to clear their cards each round.
Set Up
Cards should be shuffled before being dealt to players. Players are dealt a total of 12 cards each. Players arrange their cards face up on the table in front of them. The cards are arranged in a grid with four cards across and three rows down.
After the cards are dealt, the remaining cards are removed to the side of the table. Each player is also given a set of 4 dice to start.
Game Play
You can decide at random who will start the game, then move clockwise to the next player. Each player gets 3 rolls per turn. The starting player will roll all 4 dice on their first turn. After the first roll, if any dice match the same number as a card on the player's card grid, the player may decide to put any number of rolled dice on top of matching cards of the same number.. This will lock the matching dice to the card for that series of 3 rolls.
If during a player's turn, they match and lock all of the numbers on a vertical or horizontal row. The player must immediately clear that row by removing the cards and collapsing the grid, making it smaller. If a player clears a row at any time, their turn is immediately over, and they lose any remaining rolls. Players can only clear one row per turn.
After clearing rows, in future turns, players can only roll as many dice as the longest row of cards in their grid. For example, if the longest row in your grid is 3 cards, then you only roll 3 dice. If a player forgets to remove a die and rolls more dice than their longest row. Then they immediately lose their turn if another player notices and makes them aware of it.
Players take turns rolling and clearing rows until one player has completely removed the cards on their grid. At that time, the remaining players total their uncleared cards on their grid. The total will be the player's score for that round. The cards are then shuffled, and a new round is started.
At the end of 5 rounds. The player with the lowest total of points from all rounds is the winner
